"C Street" is the name given to a secretive house in Washington DC, operated by the fundamentalist Christian organization known as "The Family." It serves as a meeting place and sometimes residence for prominent politicians (primarily Republicans). The house has recently gained notoriety for its relationship to the sex scandals of several Republicans including Sen. John Ensign (NV), Gov. Mark Sanford (SC), and Rep. Chip Pickering (MS).

I am going to college for Comparative Religion right now &, from what I have sen, I know allot more about it than you do.
No, God is not a "mystery". God is. What the heck it is varies from person to person. God is as much a "mystery" as love or humor is: something that can be experienced but not put into words & hence, we have myths to use as metaphors for the real thing or as Joseph Campbell called them "the masks of God"
Not to mention many religion, like Wicca, Asatru, Gnosticism etc are extremely DISORGANIZED...it's possible for a Wiccan to become Wiccan, practice Wicca from cradle to grave, & never meet with or associate w/another Wiccan...so how, pray tell, is that "organized" religion? LOL!
Please keep up the cursing & psychotic Ad Hominem attacks :)
Ah, yes, grasshopper, another 'college' puke who, having taken a few courses, fancies him/ herself another Aquinas.
Listen, dipshit, I give no respect because you deserve none. Every, and I mean EVERY little idiot bit you've vomited up has been done a thousand times before and each time it's been shot down.
Even your idiot bit that 'god' is 'god' to each individual in turn.
Come on, buckwheat, come up with something original, instead of parroting your prof.
All religions, buckwheat, ALL religions...
While you're patting yourself on the back over your 'courses' see if you can take one on the English language. There's a concept called 'reading comprehension' that you should look up. It will enable you to understand and remember both the meaning and the context of what you are reading.
(Makes you look a little smarter, too. Not quite so dense as to miss that I repeatedly ranted about "ALL" religions.)
Anyway, I do not even believe in God as a personal entity, but a tranpersonal...it. Or, maybe God is "just" in the mind...does that mean God is less worth while? What if God is just a feeling: does that mean feelings should be ignored? Of course not.
Please keep up the cursing because you are making me look good. You do realize you sound every bit like a manic street preacher for Atheism? LOL!
It is cute, though, when someone like you is exposed to the pseudo-intellectual asswipe apologists for the filth of the stupidity of relgion and then thinks that he/she is fit to argue about such profundities.
You think that because the argument seems clever and new to you that it is, in fact, new and clever; not realizing, of course, that millions have heard the same tired old shit and dismissed it all way, way, WAY long ago.
But hey, it's new to you!
Due get a education, learn what is & how to avoid an Ad Hominem attack & try again.
ROTFL! For a "rationalist" you certainly curse like someone who is quite irrational in a bad way.
By all means, do keep this up, because this is funnier than a Mystery Science 3000 Marathon.
No, you ignorant, educated-beyond-your intelligence, smug little snot. You seem to feel that by attending classes your opinion is any better than a gap-toothed, inbred hillbilliy's.
Take some reality classes, buckwheat, like physics, maths, biology, cosmology, you know, the stuff that dupes like you hate because of 'all that math' and 'all that precision' stuff.
I do hate to point this out to you but, cursing in and of it's self does not help you to win an argument & it is in fact usually counter-productive.
Ohh...& what exactly is reality? Too much damn George Berkeley has me wondering...
I know that spelling can be just a visual problem, but it does make you look a little less bright... (that's do, not due....)
And no, you do not deserve correct, proper English.
And stop displaying your massive ignorance about Atheist groups. I belong to several and they are more disorganized than a herd of cats. They bicker and fight over the stupidest stuff, including, ala' South Park, the *name* of the group!
Those boys got it right, yet again!
You've been, at best, introduced to the concepts of what religion is, nothing more. You need years of study and good biology in order to understand, for instance, that many 'mystics' are merely schizophrenics in deep hallucinatory psyhosis.
That was for me, the final nail in the coffin. Trained to accept what a person says they see, they see, I couldn't know for sure WHAT they were seeing. Now I know given the right drugs and stimulus, I can make ANYONE see 'god' just like the mystics.
God, just another hallucination.
Ohh, & all Atheist groups have something uniting them: they are all 1) in a group and 2) all Atheists. Wiccans, on the other hand, are polytheist, non-theist, agnostic, pantheist etc, & many are too independent to even have a group
Ohh, & Zen mediation involves seeing the world as it is, which is the exact opposite of a hallucination. According to a Bloomsburg University study, zen monks had a better than average ability to discern illusions from reality, i.e., they were less likely to see things...but what does a University study know? LOL!
keep this up, man, you have me ROTFL
LMAO! A fallacy on top of a strawman wrapped in reductio ad adsurdum!
:)
Come back when you've learned on your own, and can do something besides parrot others.
You're just another liar for god, the kind who help support the idiocies that produce the 9-11 bombers, the clinic bombers, etc.
In other words, a person too weak and stupid to understand that in their over-educated ignorance, they are helping the insane destroy the world in the name of god, allah, etc.
Why don't you look up The Cult of Reason, who massacred about 10,000 people in the hope of making France a "rational, atheistic society"? You sound allot like them. Or Enver Hoxha's Rationalist, scientist regime based on Atheism that murdered millions or the Soviet Union's Order of the Militant Godless
You're just another rambling homicidal fundie of Atheism
