Atheist Comedy - Intelijunt Dezine

My contribution to Intelligent Design: "The Wasted Theory".
Most life is antagonistic to other forms of life. That is illogical if life was designed by a single, perfect, all-knowing creator. For example, why would God design something if He knew it was going to be unsuccessful (go extinct)? Why would God design his creation to be in constant conflict with itself?
There are two possible solutions:
1. The Wasted Theory
2. Evolution
Of course, evolution solves the problem perfectly: adaptation, natural selection, etc.
For religious people, my "Wasted Theory" also solves the problem. You're welcome, religious people; and you may freely use my theory at your discretion.

@ProtoMario You're a 25 year old who spends his time making tutorial videos for video games and producing sad attempts at intellectual conversation on advanced theories you obviously do not comprehend. Why not take some time off of your xbox (that science gave you, god didn't create it) and educate yourself before you further embarrass yourself? And shoving your veteran status unjustly into a conversation to patronize someone is being an embarrassment to the service.

One species changing into another has only been empirically observed with a virus. This is quite weak evidence. Not to say evolution has some strong evidence and compelling (or almost compelling) points to make.
Fossils made the Christians retreat into absurdity over Magic Dinosaurs that had huge carnivorous teeth but ate fruit and lived in people's back gardens.

@musicmanz15 evolution and natural selection are not the same thing. what you're describing is natural selection. christians cannot refute natural selection since it has been observed and well documented. but evolution, still remains a theory. however, evolution is the best explanation we have about how the current organisms came about.

@scrtwpnx Friendly question. Do you know what a scientific theory is? A theory is the highest level of validity in the philosophy of science, nothing can be 'proved'. The theory of evolution by means of natural selection is the best means we have to account for the diversity of life.

I think the best way of putting it is that the evidence for the theory evolution is convergent from; fossils, experiments, explanatory power, prediction and retrodiction, and observations etc. The theory of evolution by means of natural selection is an inductive model

As far as i am informed numberous empirical observations of speciations have been recorded in nature for plants (a few examples in the brackets) (taraxacum), birds (sylvia atricapilla), mammals (maderian mice) and fish (various cichlidae), not to speak of lizards, insects (e.g. tephritidae) or bacteria (e. coli)...
Funny that you refer to viruses as the only example, which are not even really being alive. Nevertheless, they are so useful in genetic engineering.
