The Born to Run record was the first time I was into an album at the exact same time I was going through all of the same emotions and experiences expressed in the music. This album is perfect, and this version of Thunder Road is particularly amazing. When I saw Bruce live in 2008 (and as I said, was going through the experiences of the album), I cried and screamed all the lyrics. Thanks a lot for posting this. I had never seen the video to go with it.

I'm 50 now (wow, how did THAT happen?), but one of the defining moments in my life was being at this concert in Passaic, NJ in '78. It was my first Springseen concert and I was absolutely blown away listing to this incredible force on stage. Yes. I was very young - and I was into Zeppelin, Neil Young and the Eagle and had NO idea who this guy was ... But, I had a ticket (if I drove my friends) and trusted them when they told me that he was incredible. It worked out.
