lol it is crazy looking back at it i just watched possum kingdom and was like wow i never put together that one of my favorite songs growing up was a rape/murder song now with tyler its like the the prelude of stalking her before taking her off to the possum kingdom, both will make me laugh every time i hear them now

i grew up in West Ft Worth , went to see the toadies almost every other weekend(whenever they played) at mad hatters on 8th street... and a few other even trashier clubsa round ft worth and dallas...they used to be a 5 peice 2 chicks and a total nerd on lead...they took the drummer from slopoke and he became the lead guitarist, booted the other chick and then finally had a group that could party hard lol...

Looking back, yes, these guys definitely borrowed heavily from other alt / grunge bands of the day (Pixies for sure), but this album was extremely catchy and every track was solid. It also brings back great memories of my teen years,
