One of the most under appreciated bands in music history, period. They could rock with the best of them.

I used to work with this redneck douchebag from Michigan who had a white Dean Cadillac and claimed it was stolen right out of Cobo Hall after The Cars were there in the early eighties. Ric, if you see this and are interested in finding it, I'd gladly give up his name.( I am in no way condemning all rednecks, douchebags or people from Michigan for that matter). Btw, love the CARS. Saw Panarama tour in 1980. Incredible live band.

@jlc7300 Not when I was a young kid. I've loved The Cars since sixth grade. My adult offspring know who they are and for that I am proud.

rocks much harder than the album version. they are all going to town on their instruments. Ric was either the luckiest or the smartest mofo on the planet to find these four guys to take his songs and turn them into this kind of magic.

I feel fortunate to have been an impressionable young man at the time of this album's debut. I still listen to this record. It is timeless!

@ratrodford1933 Couldn't disagree more. The guitars drive this band. The keys are just a nice addition. When I listen to the 1978 rock goes to college version and barely hear the keys, I don't even miss em
