But there's a more important matter here: Your people have been systematically conditioned to think you're being persecuted and that true control of your lives is beyond you. @JoshSitar U may have a point. Richard was inspired by Bill Cosby at 1st. I think he was more in2 his success vs his comedy. Rich soon rejected Bill's style. I think Lenny may have inspired him 2 let go, but he didn't make him. Rich was crazy on his own. Whether Bruce or Pryor, the truth is we know who has the greatest impact the whole world over. Rich changed things, taking it 2 the next level. Their is a reason 4 Carlin having the career he did and Rich having the 1 he did.

@JoshSitar . I would also like 2 add Josh Sitar. Atleast Rich was speaking of something from real life experience. Not limited 2 just what was humorous on tv or in the newspaper. He opened up and shared his life, his neighborhood, his flaws. He had NO FEAR. He made people laugh on a level that they can relate 2. Every day humor. It felt like family with Rich. That's why people love him. Watch Jay Leno,Comedy Central with J Stewart or read Doonsbury if u think that political stuff is so funny.

Carlin spoke about EVERYTHING; his life, politicians, drugs, language, religion, and the stupidity of the public, which is why he'd admired more than anyone else in standup. Watch some Carlin sometime; you'll love him. My intentions aren't to hurt anyone and I'm seriously so far from racist. I just felt the need to counter the claims that everyone thinks Pryor's #1. I have seen Carlin,numerous times.I like the guy, just not a fanatic.Whether Carlin was the 1st, 2nd or 3rd 2 be a raw edgy or deeper performer-doesn't matter. I just think Rich is more FUN 2 listen and watch. They both have their own style and rhythm. U have who u identify best with and I have my greats. I enjoyed some of Carlin, after awhile it just seemed he was just complaining. Pissed about everything. Like Lenny. Some comics have 2 remember people are out 4 a GOOD time.
