@jamo387 yes, he never got the credit he should have for the cars hits. They are all awesome, he was not in front, but just as important in the sound of the band. With out him, the cars would not have been the cars.

Elliot and Benjamin need more credit, I mean am I the only one that thinks Ric is a little off saying he wrote ALL of this?! I mean Ric is not even a hard rocker, or a lead guitarist at the least, how would out of no where could he think of that bad ass of a lick all by himself as a rhythm guitar player? Maybe Ric is that mad scientist of Rock and Roll!

@laney50w it is a killer axe isnt it? but id rather have the les paul.i had a top of the line RICH one time and it wouldnt stay in tune even after several guitar shops looked at it.though ive never owned a PAUL ive always wanted one.personal preferance i guess.

@mikebloomfirld66 I actually want one just for collecting (70's era, of course). I've had a Paul. Some can be great, but you really have to play a bunch of them, to find the right one. I have a 1994 McCarty PRS, and it's really nice, and never goes out of tune. And I'm pretty hard on strings. If you want a really nice LP, consider the Tokai "Love Rock" models from the 80's....SMOKIN' axe!

A lot of CARS songs are played on radio/satellite but Candy-O is arguably there best, it kicks ass, but it rarely gets played.
