@roccorules1 This is surely trying to compare apples and pears, A totally futile exercise. Ms Streisand is a seasoned professional with 40 years plus of stage,screen and recording experience, whereas when this video was made Ms Boyle had made one TV recorded performance and this was her 1st live TV performance. Prior to this her singing was confined to local choirs and bars. A fair comparison? I don't think so!.

I love it!!! Susan sings with passion,powerful, but most important : I enjoy every single word she's singing,maybe she sings not perfectly.well,but thats her charm...(its never boring like perfect singing can be)

@ovulatiep0wner I so agree with you. Susan is rarely perfect in live performance, but that for me is magical. You just never know what is going to happen, but you will her on to win through, anyway!

@ValtronW I'd say that in terms of being versatile, Barbra Streisand stands alone. She has a combination of unbelievable clarity, high range and power. Shirley is one of my favourites but she has mostly power... I don't know about Betty. have you ever watched this video of Barbra? very few have... so amazing!
