this was going to be a 2 part series, but I edited it down to 1 video (almost entirely my parts were edited, as I didn't want to be accused of taking fox's clips 'out of context'). anyway, i thought it came out well, so enjoy :)

I believe that in schools, they should keep evolution and creationism quiet.... i am a christian, but i know that if we put creationism in, atheists will go crazy... but if we keep evolution in, teachers are just filling kids up with nonsense... GOD BLESS

You're a moron. Creationism is nonsense, evolution is a proven theory - in fact, it is literally observable across generations of bacteria and yeast species. (I'll give you a few points for saying that Creationism should be "kept quiet" however).

@Tom6093 i think he is pointing out their stupidity... he decided to do something about it? whats wrong with that? do you know how many dumbasses believe everything that is in the media? or everything they are told..(isn't that what religion is? people who believe shit they are told?)
@CrimsonGetsu ... ( 5 days ago by Tom6093)
@CrimsonGetsu Though she might be taking just a little to much personally about it. Theres no need to call her a bitch. I realize this is U tube, and people usually have no problems expressing their sarcastic, overly judgmental, arrogant, self rightious, bigoted views on faith, But some of us , don't feel the need to be so mean about our opinions. I disagree with Christian evangelism and how they take all of the bible as the word of God, I disagree about Creationism or stopping stem cell R.
@CrimsonGetsu .... ... ( 5 days ago by Tom6093)
@CrimsonGetsu ....con.. But theres no need to fill this world up with more hatred and bigotry. Intolerance of faith due to dogma is as bad as racism or being prejudice. We don't have to agree with each others decision on faith, but we have to learn to respect each other as human beings. Missconceptions and judgement are counter productive and deserves no respect. But see, this is what the illuminati wants, disrespect among the people in this country. Less focus on the real issues .

@Tom6093 oh cmon if your one of those soft people who is against "hurting feelings" give me a break.. besides she is being very disrespectful, judgmental, and close minded. So even if you were a softie, she is doing that to thousands of other people through the media... she had it coming

@Tom6093 true but we all know people by nature aren't like that.. if he didnt show some kind of rebelliousness.. he wouldn't even get this kind of attention in the first place.. Humans are stupid in general.. and we have to put these fairy tale ideas of harmony and peace and hippie stuff behind us..its nice and all, but learn to accept that it is never gonna happen..we can only work with what we got
@CrimsonGetsu I ... ( 4 days ago by Tom6093)
@CrimsonGetsu I thought atheists were all about the age of inlightenment. Positive thinking and bringing good Carma is a bad thing now ? Wow !!!! This world has fallen to the Dark side. If the devil truly exists , he'd be happy as....lol..hell. Listen, There are two sides to an argument. . Now I'm against Creationism also. Least not the way the bible describes it. But faith has helped people. God or no God, Faith , other then radical theism is really not a bad thiing. ....con....
@CrimsonGetsu ... ... ( 4 days ago by Tom6093)
@CrimsonGetsu ...con.. Because you feel God isn't real and is myth, doesn't mean it's fact. Some of you atheists are very self rightious . I agree with you on most points, but being overly critical and insultive is counter productive. I think biology and Evolution should be taught in all schools. Creationism should be taught in church. Let people decide for themselfs what makes sense to them. But at the same time, students should be aloud to study the bible in school .

@Tom6093 "Because you feel God isn't real and is myth, doesn't mean it's fact. Some of you atheists are very self rightious"
i can play that game too!
Because you feel God IS real and ISN'T myth, doesn't mean it's fact. Some of you CHRISTIANS are very self rightious (sic).
how fun!
@C0ct0pusPrime Lol ... ( 4 days ago by Tom6093)
@C0ct0pusPrime Lol. But I'm not born again.. I'm not an Evangelistic Christian. I don't know with 100% certainty that God exists. I do know that the philosphy of my faith has helped me positively. Overall, at least with me personally , I see a change in the way I view life, I have more tolerance for other views. Okay.. for an atheist, you don't require this philsophy. Thats cool. I agree with how you view creationism. But, a Christmas Nativity scene on public property offends you?
@C0ct0pusPrime I ... ( 4 days ago by Tom6093)
@C0ct0pusPrime I do agree with you that alot of Christians are self rightious. I used to be born again. Till I realized , If science has evidence towards evolution , and plants that exceed 6000 years. Then maybe I can't depend on a book to be the word of God. If I want to be honest with myself and realize the fallicy in the way of being a full fledged born again Christian, I have to be against homosexuality, abortion, democratic views ,stem cell research, ......con../.......
@C0ct0pusPrime- ... ( 4 days ago by Tom6093)
@C0ct0pusPrime- and science as a whole, and I'm not gonna do that. So why do I still believe in what you feel as myth ? I just feel there is a physical reality and a spiritual reality. I know it sounds far fetched to you and it's not proven. I just believe there is more to the picture. I feel ...we evolved differently for a reason. If I'm wrong...fine. But I can't in good conscience abandon this theory. It's weird and sounds nuts to you. But this is where I stand right now.

You miss the point. See if you can grasp it.
Yes, some people believe Creationism is a myth. They have a right to believe that. It's a legitimate opinion. But the key word is "opinion," because the question of whether it is a myth or not CANNOT BE EMPIRICALLY SOLVED.
Now let's talk about about SCIENCE. Science is a field that explores those questions which CAN BE EMPIRICALLY SOLVED.
So why is a SCIENCE BOOK containing an OPINION that has nothing to do with SCIENCE? It's downright asinine.
@UncleIrv its funny ... ( 4 days ago by C0ct0pusPrime)
@UncleIrv its funny because creationists are always complaining that they want want their bullshit taught in science class, and then when it gets mentioned, they're up in arms that science and their fairytales don't mix. they can't have it both ways.

@C0ct0pusPrime
No, that's a straw man. I don't know of anyone pushing for biblical "Creationism" to be taught in science class since the 30's. Where you been?
I'm not asking for it "both ways." I'm asking for science to be confined to those matters which are open to empirical investigation.
In the last decades it has not been Christians, but more often secularists who have attempted to go beyond what can be empirically determined. CASE IN POINT.

@UncleIrv "I don't know of anyone pushing for biblical "Creationism" to be taught in science class since the 30's."
only a couple of years ago schools in texas pushed (and succeeded) to have a sticker put in the front cover of biology books claiming that evolution is just a theory, and there are other theories, such as creationism."
now you tell me who is pushing on "matters which are open to empirical investigation"?
Array ( 3 days ago by UncleIrv)
@C0ct0pusPrime
You got your facts wrong. The state was Georgia, the effort was unsuccessful, and the text DID NOT include "there are other theories such as Creationism." (Interesting how these facts get distorted.) So this does not qualify as evidence of your claim.
While I agree that saying evolution is "not a fact" technically oversteps the bounds of empiricism, the anti-Creationists have far more often put statements WITHIN textbooks which boldly disregard those boundaries.

@Tom6093
Tom,
In the interest of fairness, do you really want to say "Christians" are "against democratic views"? Or "against stem cell research"? (Instead of only a small branch of it which has not shown promise.)
Also, are you unaware that a huge portions of Christians have no problem with an old earth / Big Bang and in fact feel it jibes with scripture?
I have a degree in Physics, and I'm very much of the view that whatever NATURE tells us must necessarily jibe with our theology.
