Very hart breaking to watch I truly feel that D. L was affect deeply than the others comedian. I love Bernie because he wasn't afraid to speak his mind and to tell true life stories which I think is a true comedian.

People grieve in many different ways. As a believer of God, you know you will see your loved ones again but some people like to concentrate on the good times to help deal with the death. It is okay to cry and feel hurt when someone dies. Even while laughing, you can still hurt but no one can judge someone for laughing or making jokes at a funeral to help deal with the death. They just simply choose to think of the good times. Crying and hollering will not bring them back to life.

@Sadikisworld Yes!!!!! Still celebrating his life. I didn't know the man, but I've been touched by his comedy and life. The Bible says "laughter is like medicine". It helps me fight my bouts with depression. Very apropos considering the audience. #celebratelife!!

This was so precious....God Bless them all. Bernie's family and friends. Losing someone you're close to in that capacity hurts. In D.L. showing and sharing his emotions shows us the heartfelt love he had for his friend - no holds barred. Many people live and die without telling one other "I LOVE YOU" not realizing just how short life is.

@Sadikisworld white people can have good times at funerals too. my great aunt's funeral was a party. with a bar and a band. she didn't want anyone mourning and carrying on. as she put it, she was glad to get to go to heaven, and she wanted people to have fun.
