the backstory to "From Where You Are":
performed by Jason Wade, a member of a band named Lifehouse. Mr. Wade was inspired to write the song by the death of a 16-year-old friend in an auto accident.
The commercial dramatizes the issue by showing a highway crowded with cars - filled with teenage passengers - that suddenly disappear. "Every year, nearly 6,000 teenagers go for a drive and never come back," says the actor Dennis Haysbert, the Allstate spokesman. He asks the parents watching the spot to "start the conversation" with their teenage children about driving safely.

Such an amazing, inspirational song. I contacted a fantastic pianist who had made a really good instrumental of the song "Broken" and asked if he could record this song for me, as i wanted to record it for my gf. @GiozRockin Yes, I miss her everyday and I am praying for her always. My mother when through hard times, physical abuse, addiction and poverty. Even though a lot of the times she was not happy, she made others happy. At least now I know she will never have to fight these battles again, and her 6 children and still here living good lives in her memory and love.

@leahsgx How Ironic my mom went to basically the same. When me and my little sister were around five my family from my dads[dadleftus] side took us away from my mom while she was at work. My mom was very poor and was very ignorant to the laws back in my country she looked for many years with no luck. Just recently I got a call from my moms sister telling me she had been looking for us because before my mom died from cancer, she told her to do whatever n find us to tell us she loves us.
