I think Nietzsche would have both respected Hitler to an extent but mostly laughed at him and the downfall of Germany that he (Hitler) helped bring about. Nietzsche made no bones about the fact that he loved dictators/warriors but he despised the type of ideologies Hitler brought about. Nietzsche understood way before his time how dangerous Wagner was to Germany/Europe and Wagner was Hitlers Lord. He would have had a field day laughing at the "reich" and its epic failure.
