2000s Decade Recap - Politics

Despite Y2K panic at the beginning of the decade, the first ten years of the new millennium proved that our fellow humans are much more dangerous than malfunctioning machines. Unprecedented terrorist attacks on American soil, followed by subsequent attacks around the world punctuated the 2000s. Climate change and unparalleled natural disasters killed hundreds of thousands. Not to mention the global economic meltdown. To finish it off, the world was scared to death by the swine flu pandemic the perfect end to a dreadful decade. If people don't like the 2010s or 2000s, then does that mean people only like the 1990s, 1980s, 1970s, 1960s and 1950s? That's only 5 decades to choose from. No one ever goes before the 50s in this whole "which decade is better" thing. I'd have thought the thousands of decades before the 50s would have been worse since living standards were much lower and life was hard.

Why does the "United Negro College Fund" still exist? Why isn't there a "United Caucasian College Fund?" People say that the UNCF is open to all ethnicities but 99% percent of the money goes to historically black schools and the students who attend them so it's basically completely racist. Black people don't have any problem with something being racist as long as it benefits them. Why isn't Al Sharpton raising a fuss about this?
