@daniells71 I would not be surprised. But what really happened after Baby Doc fell post 1986, contracts were signed to allow produce (e.g., rice) to come in to the country much cheaper than us. In effect it killed our agriculture and put the farmers out of business. Then, most of the farmers went to Port-au-Prince to find work. This situation overcrowded PAP resulting in 300,000 deaths from the earthquake. Our government can reverse the agricultural policies but they do not want to.

You know people ask for donations and then the people of haiti dont get it. They still have shit its pathetic I donate and donate to make a change. And it seems like it still looks like what it did before the quake happened. And its been almost a year and nothing? the government lies pure bullshitters. Its like we gotta go other there ourselves to make a change in the haitian lives. Which 1 will one of these days its my goal.
