@powersmine Firefox and Google Chrome have extensions called "youtube downloader" or something similar, that allow you to navigate to any youtube video and download it to your hard drive. You can then play the resulting FLV file with VLC Player or Media Player Classic. I know at least one of those players has FLV support.

So he pretty much took a piano sample, did a bunch of complicated shit, then put a louder oscillator on top so you couldn't hear the gross piano....

You have to have a physics degree to understand these videos. The people making these videos have no idea that the majority of musicians and/or those who CREATE, don't neccessarily have the toolkit in their brain to process all these technical terms but you still carry on as if you expect us to know what "Modulate" or "parameter" means. No the people who end up getting something out of these vids are not creative, they are engineers or have a scientific background who end up doing shite music.

@alannorth You don't need a physics degree know what "Modulate" or "Parameter" means. If you don't know what they mean, you shouldn't be working with Ableton. GarageBand would be more appropriate for beginners.
